Good news for all you do-it-your self folks out there. If you do not have the right tool for the job - you have more shopping options. A new store, Harbor Freight Tools just opened in our neighborhood. Harbor Freight Tools operates more than 340 stores in 45 states and their business model, to quote the CEO is: earn our customers' business every day by offering quality tools at ridiculously low prices.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Friday, Feb. 11, 2011 at their location in the Brandywine Square Shopping Center at 12 Quarry Road. If the address does not ring a bell - it is the same shopping center that has Wegmans.
Please share your experiences with this store - will Downingtown embrace it? Do we need more discount chain stores that sell tools? Is the timing right - will people be doing more home projects this Spring?
