Christmas Party Invite - A success story

One of my favorite things about being a Realtor is when my clients share their life with me after their
transaction is done. I get pictures of their new home in another state, pictures of renovations they have done to the home they bought....invited to birthday and housewarming parties, get gifts from their travels abroad....absolutely humbled and touched by their love!

I was invited to a client's Christmas party last month. The pictures show a fabulously redone kitchen,
Marion finding just the right places to display her doll collection, a well stocked and lit bar that was
Sal's delight, finding the right spot for the family's piano....all of which we had discussed as we were
walking thru the home. To see the buyers make it their own is always priceless!

Sal and Marion invited me and my husband to their home so warmly, introduced me to their friends
and neighbors and praised my work. I could not be more proud of the job I did for them. Another
highlight of my evening was when their neighbor introduced themselves and asked me for my
business card. He said - "You did a great job for Marion and Sal...we will definitely call you when we
are ready to sell our home... we LOVE the price you got for them...your pictures were fabulous (and I
learnt later that the gentleman is a photographer by profession!)"

I had helped Sal and Marion with the sale of their home as well. I give my sellers a small Xmas
ornament from Ten Thousand Villages - made from hand-painted wood, as shown in the picture. On
the bottom is the address of the home we 'just sold'. What a great way to remember the old home as
you pull it out every Christmas! It was great joy to see the ornament on their tree along with their own personal memories, their children's artwork etc.

Gratitude - Ten Thousand Villages Home Buyer gifts

Here is a special success story.  My clients who bought a new construction house, invited me to their home about 2 months after settlement.   I have been invited to housewarmings, birthdays, dinners and lunches before...but have yet to see a home so completely transformed in 2 months!

04/20/2017 - sudhi13 Sold a Single Family home in 2016 for approximately $600K in Devon, Devon, PA. In the Summer of 2016, while staying in Valley Twp, Coatesville, we decided to look for homes in *excellent* school districts in Chester County. We were also specific on the type of Single family home, direction (Vastu) & features of the home. So after 7-8 months of searching in the Unionville & TE  SD, we found a beautiful home in Devon, PA (TE SD) that we liked, which matched all of our criteria from the listing that Bela sent out. Bela & her team moved within hours, made multiple offers & secured the home for us in Devon, PA. Then the difficult part of selling our home in Coatesville came up & we decided to SELL rather then rent, which was a decision that Bela helped us with. She gave some very good suggestions on the old home to make it ready to sell, which was very valuable. She also has a team of people at ColdwellBanker, who are extremely professional & move very quickly to get things done. So after making all the changes that she suggested, she had a professional stager come out, who staged the home to sell. And after all the good work, she listed the impeccable home & got it sold in just 8 days, in an area which usually takes 100 days to sell. So we were able to settle on the new home & old home in record time. And on the new home in Devon, based on the inspections... Bela was able to reduce the selling price by 20K, which was a fantastic :). This gave us room to make upgrades on the home. So it sum it up - Bela is an excellent realtor, who we recommend for all buyers & sellers, who want a methodical, detail-oriented, professional & knowledgeable person & an excellent professional team representing them, every step of the way. I was fortunate enough to have been referred to Bela from my aunt and I couldn’t have been happier. Not only does she know the ins and outs of the housing market in general but she was very informative of the communities we were searching for a home in. The thing that really stood out to me was  that she was very patient throughout the entire process. That includes being patient in understanding our needs/wants to looking at multiple houses over a span of 13 months to closing on a home. Even though it took us over a year to find the right home it never felt like she pushed us towards something we didn’t like in order to just make a sale. Having that trust, especially being first time home buyers, meant a lot for us. Bought a Single Family home in 2016 in Malvern, PA.

When we ventured out to look for a home, several of our friends told us the most important first step is to get a good realtor and I completely agree. You need a realtor who really works for and represents your interest and I think that is exactly what we got in Bela Vora. We met at an open house  for which she was a listing agent, started chatting and towards the end of the conversation, we knew that she was the one we'd like to work with. We are a first time home buyer and so there was a lot we needed to be educated on, repetitive and basic questions she needed to address. She was always very patient, understanding and respectful of our needs. When we were confused, she would ask us some tough questions to ascertain if we are really in love with that house or merely picking it over the other options that were available at the time. She would keep reinforcing that we need to be in love with the house before we decide to make an offer. All along the way, we felt she was very knowledgeable about the process and the local real estate market, professional and courteous in the way she treated us and never pushed us into making a decision especially if we were not fully convinced. She was very responsive and always available whenever we needed to talk to her. I'd like to thank her for being the kind of friend and partner she was through our home buying process and would certainly recommend her to my friends and family.
