Next to the Wawa on Rt 113 in Lionville, is a sign for new construction of a single family home development called Turnbury
* It is a community called Turnbury, builder Woodstone Homes. They are a local builder with several other communities in Chester County.
* Turnbury in Lionville will be a small neighborhood with 25 homes, all pretty much along one street as per the site plan. The layout allows for private lots.
* The community does not have any common facilities like pool, club house or playground - but the Lionville YMCA is less than 5 minutes away.
* The builder proposes to give 4 different model options, 3000-4000 square feet with prices ranging from $499k-$569k. Learn more about their pricing and model options here.
* The entrance will be from Wyndham - the Dowlin Forge Road side, not 113.
* The lots are an average of 1/2 acre some small and a few slightly larger - that allow for a side 3 car garage.
According to the sales manager - the development is getting a lot of interest from local homeowners, living within a 2 mile radius, who prefer newer homes that are private with reasonable lot sizes. The location across from the Downingtown High School is certainly good - right behind the Rossi Golf Center.
What do you think? Would you consider moving into this community?
