Commuters using Township Line Road between Stockton and Pennsylvania Avenue have mixed feelings about the detour they will have to make to access the PA turnpike or Rte 100.
Software firm Bentley has 2 buildings on one side of Township Line road and seek to build another building across the street. They would like to to close the road and make the entire area their corporate campus. Representatives of the Hankin Group have approached the township officials with their request to close that section of the road. A public hearing about the request is set for 7 p.m. Oct. 18 in the township building.
Comments to the Daily Local News article already show a divided public. Some are worried about the possibly 9-30 second delay that the detour will impose, some are worried about giving in to corporations, some are excited about 200 jobs coming to the area.....
