We google everything these days - but why addresses?
1. To see if Megan's Law registrants live nearby (always good to know)
2. To find Crime Reports and Data for your home and neighborhood (amazing what's posted online)
3. To detect scammers trying to Rent or Sell your house (personal experience with my own home - Craigslist)
4. To see what your neighbor's house sold for and possibly make a case for tax appeal (much more efficient to use a Realtor though)
5. To see your home's Property Records (be prepared for incorrect, outdated information)
6. To see your home's Google Street Views (that's what potential buyers will see)
