Highspire is one of the popular communities off rt 322 in Downingtown school district.
-These are Rouse Chamberlain single family homes in West Bradford township.
-They are 31 single family homes starting at 329k. The community is mostly all sold out except for 3-4 lots.
- The builder is offering incentives - spending money for the design center, and amounts vary based on the model chosen.
- The neighborhood has public sewer, well water and propane heat.
- The area is all wooded and beautiful, relatively rural. A the drive there will give you the really nice views of Chester county, PA.
This neighborhood has been selling so well over the past couple of months, that the builder is developing a new community nearby called Brandywine. The homes in this new community are likely to be similar models as Highspire but about 10k more expensive. There will be only19 homes in this new community, so grab the best lots while you can. They will be up for sale by mid May.

My take on these homes is, they are lively - a lot of house for the money certainly. However, it is rural and a little too far away from all activity - shopping, train stations, major roads for work commute etc. I would be worried about snow removal on Springton Manor road or a late night run to the grocery store. The only grocery store nearby is the Croppers in Guthriesville, while Wegman's is 20 minutes away.
All said and done - the 2 beautiful wooded flag lots that are still available for sale in Highspire are very tempting buys.
